This unfortunate departure from good governance calls for a moral overhaul, and ordinary people are hoping for the restoration of trust, integrity, and honesty in their leaders. Language changes over time, with new trends emerging constantly. However, not all trends are universally accepted. One example is the increasing use of the term ‘unalive.’ Many find this word confusing, and it can make talking about death harder. In 2024, we hope to make more mindful word choices, possibly ruling out the use of ‘unalive.’
