How To Get to the Marble Caves

By Plane 

Traveling by plane can be convenient. The closest airport where you can land is called Balmaceda, located around 35 mi (57 km) away from Coyhaique.

– By Boat 

Going by boat is a bit risky but more adventurous than the rest of the options. You can get a kayak or boat from Bahia Mansa, only 3 mi (5 km) from Puerto Rio Tranquilo.

By Car 

If you rented a car to move around Chile, you could also get to the Marble Caves by using Ruta 7. Doing so will reduce the overall cost while allowing you to travel privately.

By Bus 

Buses run daily from the town of Coyhaique to Puerto Rio Tranquilo. The departure time of most buses is at 6:30 a.m., taking about 5 hours to reach the destination.
